Red Wing 2966 Engineer - Black Klondike Leather
An icon is back! First introduced in the 1930's, Red Wing's Engineer boots were a favorite of rail workers early on, and gained immortality through their association with motorcycle riders in the 50's and 60's. The 2966 was last offered as a Japanese exclusive in 2016, and they're now back to celebrate Red Wing's 120th anniversary. The 2966 is built from Red Wing's luxurious Black Klondike leather, a veg-tan leather with a brown core and black finish. With wear, this teacore leather has a black finish that wears down to reveal the brown interior. The 2966's are finished with nickel hardware and Red Wing's Neoprene Gro-Cord sole, an oil resistant sole that's been in the Red Wing lineup for over 60 years.
